We were in Dubai last week seeing our family and the sights. We’ve been there many times before for work but every time we go, there’s always something new to see and to be impressed by.
This time we went to the 123rd floor of the Burj Khalifa Tower (the tallest building in the world) and spent two hours in the Atmosphere Bar having a drink and eating some tasty canapes – it was worth every penny! It was great to have a 360 degree view of the lights of Dubai. We were 443 metres high -that’s 1,453 feet – and it’s the highest bar in the World.
The only building which stood out at this height was the twin towers of JW Marriott Marquis Hotel so we went there for dinner on our last night to try it out. The restaurant is on the 68th floor – the bar on the 70th. It’s the tallest hotel in the world
After you’ve drunk in the highest bar in the world and eaten in the tallest hotel you wonder what claim you can make personally?
